Come join the Author and Illustrator of Alexis and Anthony Go to Kindergarten, Alexander McNeece and Molly McNeece, along with our community partners in celebrating early childhood education!

This Event will have engaging learning activities that prepare students for the fun they will have in Kindergarten, such as singing songs, playing with play-dough, making snacks, and more!

Meet the author and illustrator, sign up for Imagination Library, get a library card, and enter a raffle for tickets to the Racine County Zoo!

Imagination Library Fundraiser - A Garden Full of Books

Imagine every child with books.

Join United Way of Racine County and United Way of Kenosha County for a FUNdraiser benefiting Imagination Library at Petrifying Springs Biergarten

Come out and enjoy live music by The Brothers Quinn, a 50/50 raffle, and much more.

A portion of sales this evening will be donated to Imagination Library.

Summer Reading Program Kick Off Bash!

Celebrate the start of summer by exploring the farm at the library and signing your child up for their summer reading program! Featuring 4-H Dairy Days, visit with a calf, bunnies, chicks, kittens, goats, and sheep. Learn about 4-H while enjoying ice cream, games and face painting!

On May 29 we invite you—along with staff, board members and volunteers—to say goodbye at an open house for the community. Guests will enjoy appetizers and a cash bar.

This event will recognize this year's outstanding Community-Based Learning project and feature a networking session to connect faculty and community partners. Connections made at this event often result in community-based learning projects that can help build capacity in community organizations.

Young Professionals Week

YPWeek is a week long platform for discovery, adventure and meaningful conversations about the issues that matter among young professionals. This interactive conference brings together key leaders in the community, at purposefully chosen locations that integrate the unique cultural assets with meaningful learning or social interaction. The activities engage the next generation in experiences that are important to you as a YP while educating your employers on the important role these functions play in retaining you as their workforce.

2019 Family Empowerment Day

Family Empowerment Day is an annual family fun event for the entire community. This free event offers an enjoyable day of family friendly workshops, early childhood activities, college and community resource fair, free food, giveaways, health screenings and more. Participants have the opportunity to connect with local community partners and agencies. It also features a nationally acclaimed keynote speaker, RUSD student talent and city-wide group performances throughout the entire day.
