Parent Grade Leads
Parent Grade Leads (PGLs) are parent leaders who help build strong connections between home and school. They engage in leadership development, advocacy, and close collaboration with educators. Each PGL is assigned to the grade level of their student, they partner with the grade level teachers and lead parent engagement activities in and out of the classrooms. PGLs offer valuable support to fellow parents/caregivers helping to strengthen school–community partnerships focused on student learning and success.
Mission
To lift up parents and caregivers as active classroom partners and strong advocates for student success through dynamic leadership training, meaningful collaboration with teachers, and intentional, inclusive engagement in school life.
Vision
A school community where families and educators work together to support student success, uplift family voices, and strengthen advocacy in equitable education.
