Youth Leadership Table
The Youth Leadership Table is a student-led program for high school students in Racine County who want to make an impact in their schools and community. It is an opportunity for students to be involved in the decision-making process within our organization. YLT is designed for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are passionate about improving education, equity, and systems that affect their daily lives.
Purpose
To amplify student voice in systems change efforts across Racine County by equipping youth with leadership skills, deepening their connection to the community, and empowering them to influence education and workforce outcomes.
Goals
Build Leadership & Advocacy Skills: Grow confidence, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Foster Community Connection: Help students see a future in Racine through meaningful engagement
Drive Systems Change: Support youth in identifying and acting on opportunities to improve education and postsecondary pathways.
